North Stride Advisory was founded by Kate Henry, CPA, MBA — a senior finance professional with decades of experience leading financial functions and advising organizations across the corporate and non-profit sectors.
For most of that career, Kate served in Director of Finance and senior leadership roles — working inside large organizations, managing audits, building reporting systems, and sitting at the table where financial decisions were made.
Alongside that corporate career, a small advisory practice grew quietly — a handful of small business clients, a few non-profit boards, a growing reputation for making complex financial concepts accessible to people who needed clarity, not jargon.
The decision to go fully independent was deliberate. Not a retreat from ambition — but a redirection of it. North Stride Advisory exists to bring senior financial expertise to the people and organizations who need it most — and have not always had access to it.
